Water Conservation Tips

Water is our most precious natural resource, and we have to look after it. Water conservation is regarded as the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to reduce our ever increasing demand for water. When you think that the city of Los Angeles, for example, has grown by around 1 million people since the mid 1970s, but it still only has the same amount of water . . ..

With this in mind it’s important that we conserve water in the home, but bear in mind that although we use around 50 – 70 gallons per person inside the house, we also use a lot in the garden too, so it’s also important that we learn to conserve water in the garden, and not only that, while we’re at it we need to carry those good habits with us to our workplace and convince our colleagues to do the same. Yes, we also need to conserve water at work.

If we all do our bit to save water, drop by drop, we can make a real difference. Let’s get started.
